The Department of Entertainment and Media Studies (Grady College) has partnered with the Georgia Film Academy (https://www.georgiafilmacademy.org/) to offer Introduction to On-Set Film Production, the gateway course for the GFA program which leads to employment in Georgia’s exploding film and television production industry.
This session provides in-depth information and an opportunity for questions.
FEES: Cost for this course is covered by standard tuition paid for any UGA course.
ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICABILITY: Open to any currently enrolled undergraduate student at UGA (however, see important note below). Due to being offered as a UGA course, it is eligible to count as general elective credit in a UGA undergraduate degree program. But be sure to check with your academic adviser for confirmation of its applicability to your specific program of study.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR INTENDED OR CURRENT GRADY MAJORS: This course will not count toward completion of a degree program in the Grady College, including in Entertainment & Media Studies.
LOCATION: This course will be taught at the OFS Production Studio northern instructional hub in Norcross (about on-hour drive from Athens).
