The UGA Department of Chemistry presents guest speaker Prof. Jón Njardarson, Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Arizona. Prof. Njardarson's research is focused on advancing the frontiers of synthetic organic chemistry in the following areas: design of new organic reactions and new sulfur polymers, total synthesis of natural products, drug discovery with a focus on Parkinson's Disease and ALS, and new educational products.
