The new Georgia Tech-UGA Lecture Series in Soccer & Politics brings one speaker per semester to both campuses, giving the same lecture at both universities. The Fall 2024 lecture is by Dr. Rachel Allison, a sociologist from Mississippi State University, who will speak on “How Fans Fall in Love with Women’s Soccer.”

In Spring 2025, Dr. Brenda Elsey, a historian from Hofstra University, will come to speak on women's soccer in Latin America.
