About this Event
Conducting informational interviews can be a critical strategy for succeeding in a job search. However, this process can be daunting for many graduate students - especially if they are unfamiliar with the underlying purpose of an informational interview and basic strategies to navigate this process. In this session, instructors will discuss these core topics in a panel format that features graduate students who have successfully leveraged informational interview techniques in their own career planning. The audience will also have time to ask questions of the panel as the discussion unfolds.
This session is suitable for master's and Ph.D. students from any discipline who have an interest in landing a job outside of tenure-track academia.
