Global Food Security Summit

The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is convening leaders from academia, agriculture and government to discuss the world's ability to meet the growing demand on food supplies.

Sen. Sanford Bishop; Rep. Austin Scott; Zippy Duvall, president of the American Farm Bureau Federation; Scott Angle, director of the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and UGA-based USAID Feed the Future researchers Soroya Bertioli and Dave Hoisington will discuss the importance of U.S. leadership in the fight against global hunger, highlighting advances in nutrition and agriculture made possible by UGA researchers.
