Gene Baur: Eating Plants to Save the Planet

Hear world-renowned activist and bestselling author Gene Baur speak about the impact of our food choices on the health of our planet and our bodies and how we can create a more sustainable and compassionate food system. Hailed as “the conscience of the food movement” by TIME magazine and listed on Oprah’s Top 100 biggest trailblazers, Baur is president and co-founder of Farm Sanctuary, America's largest farm animal rescue and protection organization. Baur will also be signing copies of his books which will be available for purchase at the event.

Speaking from over 25 years of experience, Baur's thoughtful presentations inspire listeners to consider our relationship to food and how we can align our everyday actions with our values and interests to improve our own lives, the lives of animals, and the health of our planet. His efforts have been covered by top news organizations including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, NPR, ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN.
