Join fashion historian and UGA doctoral student Sara Idacavage for a special interactive gallery program focused on the clothing and textiles featured in Pier Francesco Foschi’s portraits. This drop-in program will explore what people can learn from a careful examination of “clues” embedded in silhouettes, colors, textures and embellishments, encouraging viewers to think deeper about the role of clothing in portraiture and how it connects to the ways that people dress today.
