Austreberto DeHaro is a Growth Strategy and Operations leader at Google Play, where he drives platform expansion programs and product development. Earlier in his career, Austreberto spent 13 years in management consulting, developing enterprise CRM solutions with global brick-and-mortar retailers and leveraging novel technologies to reimagine their in-store customer experience. He also worked in the start-up space, launching operations for a flash sale e-commerce business.

In 2018, Austreberto was recognized as a Rising Star of the Profession for Excellence in Retail by Consulting Magazine and earned a nomination for the Chicago Latino Network’s Up and Comer Award.

Austreberto grew up in California and currently lives in San Francisco. He is the son of an immigrant farm worker and identifies as an out-and-proud gay Mexican American. Austreberto also lived in Santiago de Chile for a while, and now loves the Andes as much as the Sierra Madre.
