Workshop: Foraging for Food and Medicine
In this workshop, participants will learn about foraging and seasonal medicinal herbs (cultivated and growing wild) that can add nutrition and flavor to salads and pestos. Participants also will learn the formula for making amazing homemade salad dressings.
This class will be hands on and feature a foraging walk through the garden to find weeds, herbs and flowers that can be eaten in a salad. The group will return to the classroom with demonstrations on how to make several different types of salad dressings and pestos.
Refreshments will be provided.
