The Felson Faculty Wriiting Retreat meets in the third floor reading room of the Main Library between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the month. The group welcome latecomers and faculty who can stay only for part of the session but we ask that participants come for at least 40 minutes, to minimize disruptions.

Sessions begin with brief introductions (and snacks) and stating a writing goal for the afternoon before settling down to write steadily. Sessions end with a brief check-in and progress update, followed by a half-hour “writing sprint.
