While COVID-19 may have shifted how we celebrate, we want to take this opportunity to show those around us how much we appreciate them. This month, the FACS Extracurricular Series will focus on the Human Development and Family Science department (HDFS), featuring developmentally age-appropriate activities you can do with your family members, friends or on your own that you can share with others. Our hope is that you share these creations with frontline workers, neighbors, postal workers, sanitation workers, first responders, community agencies and others to encourage members of your community during this challenging time. See examples below for fun crafts! We want to see your creations! Be sure to share on Instagram and Facebook with #FACSsharethelove from February 8-14.Don’t forget to tag us at @ugafacsalumni and @ugafacs!Craft IdeasHomemade Cards:www.countryliving.com/diy-crafts/how-to/g2963/diy-valentines-day-cards/ (www.countryliving.com/diy-crafts/how....org/valentines-crafts-for-toddlers/   (teachingmama.org/valentines-crafts-for-toddlers/ )Elementary:www.easypeasyandfun.com/3d-paper-heart-craft/  (www.easypeasyandfun.com/3d-paper-heart-craft/ )www.diyncrafts.com/79231/kids/happy-paper-heart (www.diyncrafts.com/79231/kids/happy-paper-heart)Middle and High School:www.easypeasyandfun.com/yarn-wrapped-hearts-craft/ (www.easypeasyandfun.com/yarn-wrapped-hearts-craft/)
