About this Event
300 S Hull Street, Athens, GA 30605
Though it is a basic necessity, a complex web of connections complicates drinking water's journey from its origin to a glass. "Drinkable Water in Georgia" examines the complex relationships and interconnections between science, technology, policy, and industry that have shaped the current state of drinkable water in Georgia.
This exhibition, made possible with funding and support from the Stephen E. Draper Center & Archives for the Waters of Georgia in History, Law & Policy, opens July 2021 at the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library Gallery in the Richard B. Russell Special Collections Libraries Building.
