Embracing Diversity is an annual kick-off event to celebrate the value of diversity and inclusion. At this event, taking place in the fall, the UGA faculty and staff graduates of the Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion are recognized, as well as the recipients of the Diversity Scholarship and UGA Black Alumni Scholarships. Each year's event also awards the winner of the new Dawn D. Bennett-Alexander Inclusive Community Award.
