  a talk on "Overcoming Adversity." The event is being hosted by the DRC (D
 isability Resource Center) and its student organization. The event aims to
  increase awareness about the rights and supports of people with disabilit
 ies and highlight their contributions to the community\, as well as to sho
 wcase disability in professional fields. \n\nDr. Duhon\, who was diagnosed
  with meningitis as a child and lost her hands and a portion of her foot t
 o amputation\, will share her experience as an individual with disabilitie
 s in the professional field of veterinary medicine.  \n\nReal-time caption
