Dr. Brandy Duhon, a veterinarian and educator, will be giving a talk on "Overcoming Adversity." The event is being hosted by the DRC (Disability Resource Center) and its student organization. The event aims to increase awareness about the rights and supports of people with disabilities and highlight their contributions to the community, as well as to showcase disability in professional fields. 

Dr. Duhon, who was diagnosed with meningitis as a child and lost her hands and a portion of her foot to amputation, will share her experience as an individual with disabilities in the professional field of veterinary medicine.
