"Social Living and Parasite Infection Revisited," presented by Vanessa Ezenwa.

In this workshop, Dr. Vanessa Ezenwa will discuss a new framework for considering the links between social living and parasitsm that considers both costs and benefits, describe emerging evidence of socially-mediated tolerance to gastrointestinal parasites in a wild mammal outline an approach for examining the causes and consequences of this potential tolerance response. A key goal of this workshop is to obtain feedback for the development of an NSF research proposal.
