DESCRIPTION:The UGA Idea Accelerator\, sponsored by the UGA Entrepreneurshi
 p Program\, takes place twice a year. \n\nStudents who have an idea\, or w
 ho are ready to expand their business\, are encouraged to apply to the UGA
  Idea Accelerator Program. The program provides students with a board of e
 xperienced entrepreneurs\, advisors\, and investors that help student entr
 epreneurs grow revenues\, stay focused on the right strategic issue and de
 velop key contacts.\n\n The accepted students will form a cohort to test i
 deas\, discover customers\, develop their model\, and compete for a final 
 award of $5\,000.\n\nTeams will meet twice a week for an hour and a half o
 ver the course of 8 weeks.
