Dawg Camp RISE

RISE Scholars’ Dawg Camp RISE is a summer bridge component built to support the academic success of its students through a cohort-building model that focuses on academic and social experiences. Dawg Camp RISE provides a pre-college experience by exposing students to what is like to be a student at UGA, exploring common transition topics, while participating in various events.

The first three days and two nights, students will lodge and participate in different fun activities at the Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington, GA. The remaining time, student will stay at the UGA campus in Athens. Dawg Camp RISE is free. Students will be required to make a $50 deposit that will be returned at the end of Dawg Camp RISE. Scholarships to cover the deposit may be available on a case-by-case basis.
