Beginning 5/23, utility work will commence at Field Street with the work shifting at various points throughout the summer. This work will affect pedestrian routes, transit routes, and vehicular access routes including Sanford Drive, Field Street, and Cedar Street.
 
Field Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Sanford Drive beginning 6/13 and through 7/29; however, two-way access from East Campus Road will be accommodated with a turn-around point at the S01 lot north of Chemistry. In order to facilitate this two-way circulation, parallel parking spaces will not be available. Access from East Campus Road to Field Street will be right-turn only, from the southbound lane. Likewise, leaving Field Street, all vehicles must turn right onto East Campus Road for southbound travel. The sidewalk on the south side of Field Street will remain open.
 
UPDATED DATES: Beginning 6/13 and now through 7/1, Sanford Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic; however, pedestrian access will be unobstructed along the west side of the roadway.
 
UPDATED DATES: Beginning 6/13 and now through 7/1, Cedar Street will be closed at D. W. Brooks Drive, with limited vehicular access from East Campus Road to facilities and parking east of D. W. Brooks Drive.
 
Alternate bus routes have been assigned during these timeframes and are included in the linked maps. Between 7/30 and 8/11, all roadways will be back open to regular vehicular traffic flows but some pedestrian routes will continue to be affected. See linked maps for clarification and note several phases will shift access options throughout the summer.
