POSTPONED: Congress Week: An Afternoon With Tamar Hallerman
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED.
During the Congress Week event, Tamar Hallerman will discuss her experiences covering congress for the AJC and Congressional Quarterly, how that experience changed over time, and what challenges and opportunities confront congressional correspondents today.
Hallerman is a senior reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's enterprise team, where she covers women in society, LGBTQ issues, the urban-rural divide, and other matters at the nexus of politics, business, and culture. She moved to Atlanta in December 2019 after four years as the AJC's Washington correspondent. Hallerman previously wrote about government spending for Congressional Quarterly (CQ) Roll Call, energy and climate change for a trade publication, and dabbled in public radio. A native of Blacksburg, Virginia, she attended American University in Washington D.C.
