This three-part workshop series helps faculty learn how to provide their peers with effective feedback that can be used to improve their peer’s teaching and show evidence of their teaching effectiveness for annual evaluation, promotion, and tenure. Each workshop focuses on one major part of the observation process: preparation, observation, and feedback/reflection. Learn how to review course materials and use a rubric to identify student and instructor behaviors associated with effective teaching, conduct observations that recognize and reflect on effective teaching, and translate your observation notes into effective written and verbal feedback.
