College of Education Spring 2018 Graduation Convocation
Come celebrate the 2018 spring and summer graduating classes at Graduation Convocation! Convocation is for students graduating with bachelor's, master's, and specialist degrees. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will last about two to two and a half hours.
Registration is required for convocation and is due on April 13 at 5 p.m.

Some important information for students:
Graduates are to check in at 5 p.m.
Doors to the Auditorium for seating will open at 5:30 p.m.
Guests tickets are required for this event and will be taken at the doors.
Seating is first-come, first-served.
Handicapped seating will be available. There is enough room for guests to sit with their guests, friend and families in these accessible sections.
Students will be split up by departments for the ceremony and students will not be in alphabetical order, so remind your guests and family to look for your departments if they want to get a good picture of you when you walk across the stage.
Individual and group photos will be available between 5-5:45 p.m. during the check-in process.
Your families and friends do not need to grab an extra program for you as they come in. You will be given one after you are seated.
PhD and EdD candidates participate in the hooding ceremony hosted by the UGA Graduate School.
Directions and Parking
Parking is available for free in the Classic Center Parking Deck, located on Foundry Street. This parking will be first-come, first-serve. Please tell the parking attendant you're there for the College of Education Ceremony. Accessible parking is available in the deck. To ensure parking in this deck, guests should plan to arrive early.
Graduates will be wearing cap and gown for College of Education convocation from now on! REGALIA IS REQUIRED. You are allowed to wear cords, stoles, hoods, etc.

Registration is required for this event and will open in February. Students must request tickets through this page.
Students will be able to request five tickets and a possible five more for a total of 10, depending on seats available in the Classic Center.
