This season’s festival farewell features virtuoso violinist Joseph Lin, former first violinist of the Juilliard String Quartet, performing as soloist in Bach’s "Violin Concerto in E major" with the CMA String Ochestra. UGA faculty member, mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Knight, joins the Parker String Quartet in Respighi’s "Il Tramonto" (“The Sunset”). The concert and the festival come to an end with Mendelssohn’s "String Octet," which brings together Lin, Parker Quartet, and UGA performers.
