About this Event
Join this four-part rotating series on managing stress and anxiety. The first lesson focuses on understanding what anxiety is and assessing how it shows up in peoples' lives. Learn how to identify own stress and anxiety as it arises, and explore some early warning signs, triggers, and ways of coping with these sensations. In the next three sessions, learn to develop practical skills on calming the mind and body, while learning how to create a lifestyle conducive to managing stress.
Participants can come to as many lessons as they would like. This workshop is led by a UGA student/intern at CAPS and is FYOS approved.
