DESCRIPTION:At the heart of modern chamber musical exploration is the disco
 very and creation of new music. Join Amy Yang\, dean of the storied Curtis 
 Institute in Philadelphia\, alongside UGA faculty and student performers\, 
 as they explore newly created\, multidisciplinary works inspired by visual 
 art\, poetry\, and the environment. \n\nFeaturing new music by living compo
 sers\, three of these compositions are receiving their world premieres\, al
 ong with one Georgia premiere. Brief panel discussions illuminating the pie
 ces will precede the performances.\n\nFeatured UGA Faculty: Liza Stepanova\
 , piano and Maggie Snyder\, violin\, Hugh Hodgson School of Music\; and Geo
 rge Contini\, actor\, Department of Theatre and film\; and David Tilson\, U
 GA Warnell School of Forestry & Natural Resources. Also featuring UGA stude
