Botanic Musicale: Music of Nature ("Spring Will Come!")

Chamber Music Athens is excited to partner with the State Botanical Garden of Georgia with a concert entitled "Spring Will Come: Music of Nature" happening on Tuesday, May 14th in the Cecil B. Day Chapel. There will be a reception at 6:30 and the concert will begin at 7:30. Both the reception and the concert are ticketed events.

The concert will feature guest artists Sarah Shafer, the Jupiter String Quartet, and Peter Frankl. They will be joined by UGA professors Jean Martin-Williams, D Ray McClellan, and Liza Stepanova. The program consists of pieces by Amy Beach, Fanny Mendelssohn, Schubert, Puccini, Rachmaninoff, and Brahms. This concert is presented as part of the State Botanical Garden's "Botanic Musicale" series.

Botanic Musicale is a concert series honoring the late Neva Langley Fickling. Funded by Neva’s daughter, Jane Fickling Skinner, and other family members, the concert series brings noted musicians and concerts to the State Botanical Garden of Georgia.
