Carole Emberton, associate professor of history at SUNY Buffalo, will participate in a discussion and Q&A on her 2013 book Beyond Redemption: Race, Violence, and the American South after the Civil War. The event is presented by the department of history and the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts as part of the Willson Center's 2021 Global Georgia Initiative public events series.
