Big Dawgs
Big Dawgs is one of three summer intensive communication programs offered by the College of Education's Department of Communication Sciences and Special Education.
Big Dawgs includes evidenceâbased intervention and enrichment in early literacy, speech and language production, and social communication for children in a creative, interactive atmosphere. Children without specific speech or language needs are welcome and will receive developmentally appropriate language and literacy enrichment.
The program meets 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday, July 16-27.
Services will be provided by graduate student clinicians under the guidance and supervision of UGA faculty members with expertise and required credentials in speech-language pathology, special education, and early childhood education.
