About this Event
This bi-monthly virtual book club features works by alumni authors. This month, Charlayne Hunter-Gault (ABJ ’63) will join readers online to discuss her book, In My Place, which gives her account of her role in the Civil Rights movement and how her childhood prepared her for it.
There’s no cost to participate, but registration is required. This event is part of the campus wide programming supporting the 60th anniversary of desegration at UGA.

Awesome getting chance to meet her virtually and hear her story. I wish we could have had an opportunity to ask more questions from the audience and opposed to the host.
