THE OG AI: Strengthening Authentic Interaction in a World of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence is changing how people work, communicate, and make decisions—fast. But the most powerful “AI” people have access to is still the original kind: Authentic Intelligence.

In this interactive session, instructors explore what humans do best—and how to strengthen those skills at a time when efficiency, automation, and algorithms are everywhere. Using tools from improvisation, applied storytelling, and human-centered communication, participants will practice the very capacities that technology can’t replace: presence, listening, adaptability, empathy, and real connection.

Together, the workshop will explore how to:

  • Stay present and responsive in fast-moving, tech-mediated environments
  • Strengthen authentic listening and communication
  • Build trust and connection in moments of uncertainty
  • Navigate ambiguity with confidence and curiosity
  • Show up more fully—as leaders, collaborators, and humans

This session is ideal for thinking about creating connection in the classroom (or the office!), which has great effects for student success and retention.
