The AthHalf packs all that Athens has to offer into an exciting half marathon course. The half marathon course includes a run through Athens’ historic districts, downtown, and the UGA campus, with the final mile occuring inside Sanford Stadium. Furthermore, local Athens bands will be performing live throughout the course. The AthHalf is produced annually by the nonprofit organization, AthFest Educates, and race proceeds support our mission of funding high-quality music and arts education programming for local K – 12 youth. By running the AthHalf, participants are making an impact on a child’s access to music and the arts.
