About Catherine Stewart: Dr. Stewart obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette, her Master’s degree in Plant Pathology from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and her Ph. D. in Genetics from Kansas State University. She started working as a Scientist at Conagra after graduation, with a focus on next generation sequencing and new technologies in food safety testing.
