Known as “The Queen of Ranchera Music,” Aída Cuevas is the first and only female mariachi singer to ever win a Grammy Award and a Latin Grammy Award. Celebrating nearly 50 years as an international icon, her songbook albums have played a central role in defining Mexican popular music over an illustrious career spanning 41 full-length albums that have sold more than 11 million copies.

Cuevas makes her UGA Presents debut with a special program honoring her late mentor, one of Mexico’s bestselling performing artists, Juan Gabriel.
