Brazilian Portuguese has its own pronunciation, structure, and vocabulary that can be traced back to the influence of African enslavement by colonial Portugal in Brazil. In this workshop, participants will learn the specifics of the pronunciation of Brazilian Portuguese while also learning how it came to be and its relation to Afro-Brazilian culture.
