https://ctegd.uga.edu/events/symposium/Tthe 32nd Annual Molecular Parasitology & Vector Biology Symposium hosted by the Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases at the University of Georgia will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.
This day-long regional conference on parasites and host/parasite interaction draws more than 200 attendees from many departments at UGA and colleagues from other institutions throughout the United States. Please register by Monday, April 24.
The day will feature two invited speakers:
Sabrina Absalon, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of pharmacology and toxicology at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Robert Seder, M.D. is Chief of the Cellular Immunology Section at the National Institutes of Health.
Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and other researchers are invited to present their research in either an oral or poster presentation. Abstracts for these presentations are due by Friday, April 14.
There is no cost to attend the Symposium but registration is required by Monday, April 24.
