This year's Chhabra-Landau Distinguished Lecture in Physics will be given by J. Michael Kosterlitz, the Harrison E. Farnsworth Professor of Physics at Brown Univeristy.  Kosterlitz was a recipient of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work in theoretical condensed matter physics.
