The theme of this year's Disability History Symposium is Home Grown, World Class: Georgia's Contributions to the Movement.The keynote speaker will be Charlotte McClain-Nhlapo, Global Disability Advisor, World Bank Group. She formerly was the Coordinator for Disability and Inclusive Development for USAID, was appointed by President Obama to lead initiatives on inclusive international development and was appointed by Nelson Mandela to the South Africa Human Rights Commission.Presenters will include multiple Georgians who have made important impacts in our state. The event is free but registration is required for both in-person and virtual participation.
