Breaking Down Walls: Teaching and Learning Through and Across Boundaries

This annual conference is hosted by the Journal of Language and Literacy Education (JoLLE), a student-run, peer-reviewed, open-access journal housed in the Department of Language and Literacy Education at the University of Georgia.

This year, we invite teachers, researchers, and students to move beyond disciplinary, conceptual, theoretical, national, cultural, linguistic, social, racial, and gender boundaries, to communicate the embodiments of innovation, inclusion, affirmation, and "trans-"pedagogy.

Featured Speakers

Jerome Harste, artist and professor emeritus of reading and writing, Indiana University
Kakali Bhattacharya, professor of educational leadership and qualitative research, Kansas State University
