Consistent with previous years’ conferences, the goal of the 2021 DEI Conference is to foster dialogue and collaborative learning to build a more just and equitable environment in the college and community. This current moment calls for creativity, adaptability, and accountability as people navigate a global pandemic and heed the call of social movements across the world to name and uproot systemic racism and anti-Blackness while envisioning socially just alternatives. By focusing on collective intersectional healing in education and helping professions settings, people can build their capacity to create a liberatory future.
