The 48th Annual Georgia Children’s Book Awards and Conference on Children’s Literature is a two day conference for teachers, media specialists, teacher educators, administrators, public librarians and other children's literature enthusiasts. Attendees will hear notable children’s authors and illustrators and celebrate the Georgia Children's Book Awards. It is also the state level competition of the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl.

The 11th annual Global Educational Forum

The 11th annual Global Educational Forum will focus on engineering, education and technology in human development and sport. The keynote speakers and UGA faculty scholars in the the fields of engineering, technology, and human sport biomechanics will use different platforms and frameworks to provide solutions to issues of worldwide significance such as unsafe drinking water and sports injuries like concussion.
