Lecture: “The Genius of Michelangelo”

"The Genius of Michelangelo: Sistine Chapel…500 Years," William E. Wallace, an internationally recognized authority on the Renaissance artist, architect and poet Michelangelo Buonarroti. Wallace has published extensively on Renaissance art. In addition to more than 80 articles and essays, he is the author or editor of seven different books on Michelangelo, including the award winning, "Michelangelo: The Complete Sculpture, Painting and Architecture," "Michelangelo at San Lorenzo: The Genius as Entrepreneur," and most recently, "Discovering Michelangelo." This lecture is a part of the Association of Graduate Art Students Lecture Series.
