The Tenth IMACS International Conference

The Tenth IMACS International Conference on Nonlinear Evolution Equations and Wave Phenomena: Computation and Theory will focus on computational and theoretical aspects of nonlinear wave phenomena. Interdisciplinary aspects of the subject will be emphasized, as well as the interaction between computation, theory and applications.

Be the Match Spring Drive

Be the Match is hosting its annual spring drive and will add names to the National Bone Marrow Registry, which pairs donors to patients in need. The event will feature Marrow Man and his Epic Battle Exhibit, which explains what bone marrow is and how a donation can have a major impact on a patient's life.

Service / Volunteer Opportunities

Join ServeUGA this semester for volunteer opportunities with Project Safe, which works to end domestic violence through intervention, support services, advocacy, and education. Volunteers will mostly likely be working at the Project Safe Thrift Shop, which supports programs and services for victims of domestic violence and their children.

Bassoon guest artist Darrel Hale, will perform. An active orchestral performer, Hale has served as the principal bassoon of the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Springfield Symphony Orchestra, and most recently as the Acting Principal Bassoon of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra.
