Workshop: Mentoring FYO Students

Classes and Workshops

Opportunities to get to know students in small groups and supportive seminars are a part of the FYO design. A time, space, and setting for students and teachers to speak and listen to one another are also pieces of a successful mentoring blueprint. This workshop is an opportunity for faculty to share their strategies and experiences as mentors.

Animal Voices Film Festival: A Dog Named Gucci

Films

A Dog Named Gucci is the story of an abused puppy and the brave man who came to his rescue. But for Doug James, saving Gucci was just the beginning. Together they would forge a forever bond of devotion and perseverance and work to change the animal cruelty laws in their home state of Alabama, making domestic animal abuse a felony. A Dog Named Gucci is an inspiring film about how to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
